Main tasks: 

Greet guests when they enter the Retreat at Blue Lagoon Iceland.

Register and check in and out of rooms.

Direct or escort guests to their rooms or to specific locations.

Operate the telephone, provide information, take messages, schedule appointments and update guests about appointments.

Listen and resolve complaints from guests.

File and maintain records.

Contact housekeeping or maintenance staff when guests report problems.

Make and confirm reservations and issue room keys and escort instructions to bell boys.



Professional, warm and positive.

Excellent communication- and cooperation skills as well as English skills (writing and speaking).

Passion for welcoming the guests and assisting them during their stay by paying good attention to their wishes and needs.

Good organizational skills and precision.

Previous experience in a hotel reception or similar.

Preferably 25 years old or older.
